New Elder Candidates
Nola Sabiston is Dunedin born and Invercargill raised. After leaving school she worked at the Invercargill Court. She became a Christian in 1986 and was part of the Georgetown Baptist Church. Nola left Invercargill in 1990 to attend Bible College (Laidlaw College) where she completed a Diploma of Missiology. She then trained as a teacher spending the next nineteen years in Auckland. As Nola puts it she "received a call home" to Invercargill. She found her way to Windsor Community Church and has been an active member for about 12 years. She has been part of the worship team, is an able service leader, and is passionate about being part of the Thursday night women's fellowship group. Session believes that with the parishes support Nola will become and integral part of Windsor Community Church's leadership team. Her gifts, talents and outlook will benefit the Church.

The Church is big part of our lives as we try to surround ourselves with Christians but also in normal business life. Not too shy to talk about Jesus. We love the Church and I love to worship the Lord.
I may be a little bit louder than any other, but love to show a smiley face to a lot of people.
Session is agreed that the gifts and outlook Lars will bring to the leadership of Windsor Community Church will add to the team approach the Eldership has.
